Youth RISE
Youth RISE (Resources. Information. Support. Education) is an international youth-led network for reducing the risks and harms associated with substance use. This network is a new, completely innovative project, acting as the first and only youth-led global harm reduction network of young people. Youth RISE's activities aim to develop education, information, training, resources, peer support, youth-led research, advocacy campaigns, and policy change to prevent drug-related harm to young people. In addition, the network also works to ensure that national, regional and international bodies have (and implement) policies and programmes that promote and support harm reduction interventions by, for and with young people.
Youth RISE members have access to national and international reports on the status of young people and harm reduction issues, and to online forums and discussion boards. Members also have opportunities to participate in regional and international events.
Youth RISE is a network under the management of Release and is coordinated by Anita Krug, Chantale Kallas and Robin Pollard. For more information please visit the website and become a member by clicking on the Members page.
