- Ronald Hooberman - Chair
- Ronald is formerly a partner and now a consultant at Mishcon de Reya Solicitors in London and joined the Release board in October 2006.
- Anthony Hyams - Treasurer
- Anthony is a Certified Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in public practice and is a director of a non-quoted plc operating in the archiving and document storage sector. Anthony was appointed as a trustee of Release in March 2005.
- Dr Christine Ford
- Chris has been a GP in North West London for 20 years and has special interests in working with people who use drugs and/or alcohol. She has published widely about the care of people who use drugs in general practice and joined the Release board in November 2006.
- James Hardy
- James is a partner at Clintons Solicitors in London and joined the Release board in July 2006.
- Edward Henry
- Edward is a barrister, specialising in Criminal and Regulatory defence. He is a member of QEB Hollis Whiteman, his chambers. He joined the Release Board in January 2011.
- Andrew MacDonald
- Andrew recently became the Deputy Director of The Art Fund. He was Senior Foreign Editor of Channel 4 news until 2004. He has 20 years' experience in news and current affairs journalism, and has worked for independent producers and the BBC, as well as for ITN. Andrew became a trustee of Release in December 2004.
- Viveen Taylor
- Viveen is currently the Chair of the National Drugs and Race Equality Coalition. After spending several years working for and on behalf Black prisoner support groups, Viveen is now employed as a Capital Appeal Manager for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Viveen joined the Board of Release in September 2009.
