Drugs laws kill – why can’t we have better ones?

Over the last forty years the general public has been lulled into believing that current laws protect them from dangerous drugs.  It is clear to see that in fact the exact opposite has happened.  Drugs have become stronger and more dangerous. The industry that supplies drugs is richer and more violent than ever before.

Governments have no control over drugs.  In some countries drugs are making some people so rich that they actually control large sections of the government.

Hundreds of people are slaughtered each month in battles to control this immensely lucrative trade.  Millions of people are infected each year with easily preventable viruses because of current laws.

Your children can buy drugs as easily as they can buy DVDs or trainers.

Why do you believe politicians when they tell you that they can stamp out the drug problem?

Why do you believe that the way we regulate and control every other dangerous product would not work with drugs?

There are more effective ways to manage drug use, ways that would make drugs much less dangerous and cause much less damage to society.  What is stopping us having better drug laws?

Help Release assist people affected by bad laws and to campaign for better laws.
