This report was submitted to the Runnymede Trust in response to their March 2021 call for evidence regarding the Government’s implementation of the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. The Runnymede Trust collated evidence from civil society organisations and produced a final report based on this evidence in order to present an independent civil society perspective to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) by examining the situation of race and racism in England.
